Thank goodness Democrats were able to rout republicans from office all over the United States. Trump (run by the evil Steven Miller) has been stripped of his congressional lackeys who have destroyed much of our democracy, our democratic principals, institutions and monuments. It has been a horrendous two years.
Dems flipped the majority in Congress. The first black majority leader in Congress will be Hakeem Jeffries. In Vermont, dems have a super majority--but the Governor is still Phil Scott. Many voted for hm because he made marijuana legal in the state and this caused other states to follow his lead.
Dr. Abdul El Sayed (a muslim) won office in Michigan. He ran on health care for all and other progressive issues. He points out that we live in 'corporatism', not capitalism. He wants to change that.
