SATURDAY MORNING -- Wake-up WHITE

The first snowfall of the year!
This mantle of white was so bright sunglasses were considered.  We've become unaccustomed to this whiteness
but (not to quote the beatles)...
here comes the sun
The temperatures are reportedly going up again to almost 60 for December 24th! 

I'll bet the animals are confused.

December 2015 - Looking Forward to the Holiday Season?

At noon on this Thursday, December 3rd 2015, it is warm and wet.  A day shrouded in misty gray-white puffs of low flying cloud pieces broken by an occasional blast of sudden cold sunlight.  I should venture out but it is uninviting.

Tough task, infusing the season with joy.  You really gotta feel it and the weather is no help lately.  Kind, but not tasking us with the bitter cold could make it harder to appreciate life's other seasons.  I think now only two seasons are active in our year--no more spring & fall.  No more easing into things.  It's jump--jump.   Winter--Summer.

Hope that holiday inspiration cheery atmosphere envelops us soon!

It was a warm and peacefully uneventful day.
Not too windy.
Not too cold.
Even the Jack-O-Lantern was smiling.
