RE-POSTING re: is it a "milk"?

My quest to find healthful beverages has led me to investigate making beer and wine, cow's milk, soda, and now soy milk. That picture of a package of frozen soy beans is a bit misleading as my research tells me that you cannot make soy milk from fresh (or fresh frozen) soy beans. "Fresh green soybeans are not mature enough to have enough protein to make milk. Mature soybeans are yellow and hard even on vines." That's what the folks at Sanlinx, Inc. in Tennessee said. They sell items for making soy milk. They helped me find a source for bulk soybeans and a specific type of soybean to buy, Laura soybeans. The order will probably be here by next Friday. Here's the knot. Is soy milk a milk or a juice? What makes a milk, a milk? til tomorrow....

wishing

ALL THE THINGS I WISHED I'D SAID...

    no longer can be heard

all the tears that trickle and trace my face

    are saltless

    useless

I never knew what final meant

    now I know

    The wonder of it is

that all your work surrounds me

    edifies

    I am too sad

It is more pain than I can understand

    I miss everything about you

I think you knew but did not say

    I wish

    I wish

    I wish

    there is only silence

REMBERING BUNNY WUERSLIN AND HUSBAND LOTHAR

 WONDERING....

I have just been wondering at the happenstance of my life

remembering being at a your home, but outside, by a fire, when all of a sudden a woman (Marilyn W.) recognized me as having babysat her 3 daughters (melanie, jenny and ??) when I was a teenager living at 230 West End Avenue...(circa 1960s)

Now, 2023,  the K-R folks just named their child  TWYLA.

I have a recollection that you, Bunny? Lothar? knew Twyla as she was a visitor at your house.

Recently Twyla Tharpe has been in the news for writing a book called The Creative Habit in which she says just do things-- keep yourself in motion.

I saw the new baby's father and asked him about how/why they gave her that name.  He said he recently met a lady named Twyla at a store in a nearby town.  They both (husband & wife) liked the name.

(I wish my memory was better)

I'll end this by saying that I hope I can 'read' the signs you 'send' and most of all-- I really enjoyed our friendship.

(I think there is a short video about your idea of being at your own funeral, somewhere)
